Energy as Currency : Rethinking Debt
Anyone with over-extended credit knows it’s the worst feeling, like you’re standing on a rug over a hole in the ground with no money in your pockets.
Whatever the story is about how you got there, at the time it was justified. You just didn’t have it, but you knew you would get it eventually.
In hindsight — current day — you probably wish the same self-belief was as convincing.
Let’s not dwell on the past though. There’s already enough momentum for a shame spiral as it is — the guilt, the secrecy of it all. It’s enough to completely deplete any sacral chakra in an instant.
What would be helpful is a perception shift.
The broader and deeper picture is there are limiting beliefs about money at play:
- about receiving money
- about the ways in which you can receive money
- the reality of how much you need to actually live comfortably and,
- probably a handful of issues related to personal self-worth, value of your skills, understanding/conceptualising the qualities you offer
- and finally, being open to good things happening to you in general.
